Jake Ace, aged 28, has been passionate about magic for as long as he can remember. While many children develop a brief fascination with magic before moving on, Jake’s enthusiasm only grew stronger. From an early age, he was the go-to entertainer at family gatherings and friends’ parties, where guests regularly commented on how quickly his skills were progressing and predicted he would one day turn magic into a career.
Jake’s first major performance took place at Potters Resort, where he appeared in a guest talent show in front of an audience of around 600 people. His act received high praise from the show’s compère, further encouraging him to pursue his passion.
In March 2013, Jake became a member of The Anglian Magic Society, where he enjoys meeting fellow magicians, attending lectures, and taking part in magic-themed quiz nights. Before turning 18, he was also a member of the prestigious Junior Magic Circle in London. Jake is additionally a proud member of The Gathering—an independent magic club focused on sharing ideas—and is fully affiliated with Equity, the performers’ union.
Jake is so passionate about what he does that, to him, it doesn’t feel like a job at all. He is happiest when he is performing—creating magic, laughter and, most importantly, lasting memories for his audiences.
In November 2025, Jake completed his fifth season as a resident entertainer at Pettitts Animal Adventure Park in Reedham, Norfolk. During his time there, he loved performing as ‘Ranger Jake’ in the Temple Theatre alongside beloved characters Charlie the Monkey Trixie the Magic Rabbit and Maxi Mouse. His years at Pettitts helped shape him into the polished, engaging entertainer he is today.
